Curbside recycling is offered at $3.00 per month, no limit on amounts per residence, a recycle container will be provided for use with a one time refundable deposit of $10 but does remain property of Flynn's Disposal and deposits will be refunded once container is returned. Recycling service day will be the same as your residential trash service but may be picked up before/after your residential trash, please have available on the opposite side from your trash -all products may be mixed together in one container. If not available in yellow Flynn's container, will be considered trash and not recycled.

 

Acceptable Material, may be commingled
(MUST be available in yellow Flynn's recycling container. All containers to be recycled must be rinsed and contain no food or liquid. Please remove all lids, labels and plastic rings from acceptable containers.)
  • Corrugated Cardboard: Cardboard boxes used for storage and shipping ( soft drink & beer cartons); clean pizza boxes.
  • Paperboard: Cereal boxes, beverage cartons, tissue boxes, paper towel rolls. Cardboard egg cartons only (styrofoam egg cartons are not acceptable).
  • Aluminum Cans: Aluminum beverage and food containers.
  • Steel/Tin Cans: Bi-metal food containers (ferrous metal).
  • Junk Mail: Direct mail advertisements
  • Magazines & Catalogs: Magazines and shopping catalogs.
  • Paper/Hardback Books: Paper or hardback books.
  • Plastic Bags: Plastic shopping/grocery store bags.
  • Newspapers: Newspapers and advertising inserts, no plastic rain bags.
  • Office Paper: Mixture of high-grade papers like copier paper, computer printouts, manilla folders and stationary.
  • Phone Books: Phone books and catalogs printed on thin, low-grade paper.
  • Shredded Documents: Office paper with confidential financial, legal and medical information in paper bags.
  • Plastic Bottles #1 (PET): Soft drink, water, salad dressing, liquor and sport drink bottles.
  • Plastic Bottles #2 (HDPE): Milk jugs, laundry detergent and shampoo bottles.
  • Containers #3, #4, #5, #6, #7: See bottom or side of container for recycling emblem and number to verify if product is recyclable.
Unacceptable Material
(if mixed in with acceptable material, entire container will not be emptied)

  • Hanging File Folders
  • Drink Pouches/Boxes
  • Paper Cups
  • Paper Plates

  • Plastic containers that contained oil, antifreeze or other hazardous material
  • Photographs
  • Pet Food Bags
  • Fertilizer Bags
